I have a new post for the Crafter's Companion blog today featuring a sweet new card.
In the Humphrey unmounted rubber stamp collection is this sweet girlie elephant.
She is very shy.
I stamped her using my Rock-a-blocks and black ink.
The image on the package inspired me to colour her in this palette. Happily, I was able to use the new Crafter's Companion Spectrum Noir markers. They are fabulous to work with!
I cut my coloured image into a smaller square and added some foam tape to the back to give it some height on the card.
I placed the bouquet behind her arms by using an x-acto knife to cut a little insert.
Isn't she sweet?
She is originally from the "Birthday Girl" set.
You can see how she can be used for all occasions!
Awww, I love elephants and she is sweet! Love the card you made with her.
ReplyDeleteI love whimsical elephants, Carmi. The card is adorable.
ReplyDeleteMy sister and I once painted the small bathroom off our rec room for my mother's birthday (where we often had parties).
Sis painted the walls a grayish lavender and I painted "pink elephants and purple alligators" (from the song - oops I just dated myself) all over the room.
One alligator lounged across the top of the toilet tank with a martini glass in his hand!
The people who bought the house after my parents passed, must have thought we were all nuts! lol.
